Terms and Conditions of Sale

This is an English translation provided for convenience. The Spanish-language version is the legally binding text; in the event of any discrepancy between the two, the Spanish version shall prevail.

These Terms and Conditions govern the sale of products through www.altaocto.com, operated by ALTAOCTO, S.L. (NIF B88743091, Av. Alacant 42 - 1, 03760 Ondara, Alicante, Spain). By placing an order, you accept these Terms.

1. Order Validation & Payment

  • Contract Formation: A binding contract is only formed once ALTAOCTO has confirmed receipt of your full payment and issued a final "Order Validation" notice.
  • Payment Methods: We accept payment by bank wire transfer and by credit or debit card and other methods (such as PayPal), processed securely through our payment provider Stripe.
  • Prices & VAT: All prices are shown in euros (€) and include the Value Added Tax (VAT) applicable in Spain. Any shipping costs are shown separately before you confirm and pay for your order.
  • Right to Cancel: We reserve the right to cancel and refund your order at any time prior to validation if the product becomes unavailable from our suppliers or if there was a manifest error in pricing.
  • Processing: No order will be processed or forwarded to our fulfillment partners until payment has been cleared in full.

2. Shipping & Delivery

ALTAOCTO partners with a network of suppliers, and your order is shipped directly from our fulfillment partners to the address you provide.

  • Estimated Timelines: Delivery times are estimates and typically take 7–14 business days after order validation. In any event, the maximum delivery period is 30 calendar days from order confirmation.
  • Tracking: You will receive a tracking number by email once the supplier has dispatched your package.
  • Deliveries outside the EU: For any delivery to a destination outside the European Union, the recipient may be responsible for local import VAT, customs duties or fees charged by the destination country's authorities.

3. Right of Withdrawal (Returns & Refunds)

In accordance with EU consumer protection law, you have the right to withdraw from your purchase within 14 calendar days without giving any reason.

  • Withdrawal Period: The period expires 14 days from the day on which you, or a third party other than the carrier and indicated by you, acquire physical possession of the goods.
  • How to Withdraw: To exercise the right, inform us of your decision by an unequivocal statement — by email to info@altaocto.com — or by using the model withdrawal form below. Using the form is optional.
  • Returning the Goods: Once you have notified us of your withdrawal, please send the goods back to us without undue delay and in any event within 14 days, to the return address we provide when we confirm your withdrawal request. Please do not send returns directly to our suppliers or fulfilment partners.
  • Refund Timing: We will reimburse all payments received from you, including the standard delivery cost (except any supplementary cost arising from your choosing a delivery type other than the least expensive standard delivery we offer), within 14 days of being informed of your withdrawal. We may withhold the reimbursement until we have received the goods back, or until you have supplied evidence of having sent them back, whichever is earlier.
  • Condition of Returned Goods: You are liable for any diminished value of the goods resulting from handling beyond what is necessary to establish their nature, characteristics and functioning. We inspect all returned products on arrival; where a product cannot be resold as new because of such handling, damage, or missing parts, accessories or packaging, we will deduct the corresponding amount from your refund. Please return items complete with all accessories, manuals and, where possible, their original packaging.
  • Return Shipping Cost: You bear the direct cost of returning the goods.

4. Legal Warranty

All new products sold by ALTAOCTO come with a statutory 3-year legal guarantee of conformity, in accordance with Spanish consumer law (Royal Legislative Decree 1/2007). If a product shows a defect or lack of conformity within this period, you are entitled to have it repaired or replaced free of charge. To make a warranty claim, contact info@altaocto.com. Any manufacturer's commercial warranty offered for a product applies in addition to, and does not limit, your statutory rights.

5. Data Protection

To fulfil your order, ALTAOCTO shares the personal data needed for delivery (your name, shipping address and phone number) with our fulfillment partners and carriers, who may only use it to deliver your order. Full details are set out in our Privacy Policy.

6. Complaints, Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

For support or complaints, contact info@altaocto.com. These Terms are governed by Spanish law, and any dispute will be submitted to the courts of the consumer's place of residence. The European Commission also provides an online dispute resolution (ODR) platform: https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr/.
